How we make it happen

Innob is unique, as we place an emphasis on the social impact of our results, being a part of societal and political transformations, while seeking to understand the relationships, effects, and interdependencies among social, political and economic domains among others:

  • How do cultural norms and values influence social opinion, behavioral change and societal and political structures?

  • In what ways can educational opportunities promote better citizen participation and engagement in political life and policy-making processes?

  • How do social networks and other online communication platforms affect individuals' and community’s perceptions of political, social, cultural and economic matters?

  • How does the representation of marginalised groups in online and offline media impact societal perceptions and stereotypes in everyday life?

  • What is the impact of urbanisation on a community’s sociocultural and political structures?

  • How does political representation influence policy outcomes related to minorities, and disempowered/disengaged groups?

  • In what ways do electoral systems impact political party dynamics and policy decision-making?

  • How do media freedom and transparency affect local, regional and national democratic practices and government accountability?

  • What are the ethical, socio-economic and socio-cultural implications of automation and technological advancements on the workforce and entrepreneurship?

  • How do the social, cultural, and economic criteria (socioeconomic status, education, origin, religion, race, gender etc.) of individuals influence their political participation and representation?

  • What are the social, political, and economic implications of global phenomena like climate change, migration, pandemic emergence and others?
